Phis Lariod is the most famous and the most feared of all the Bounty Hunters in the universe. He has never let a target get away, and once he sets his eye on a new bounty, you can be sure he'll have it within a few days. His stoic, unemotional demeanor strikes fear into all around him.
That is, until Ocha Passiflora threw a brick at his head.
The brick must have knocked something loose, because the once silent hunter has been reduced to a simpering, whiney, worried baby. Well, perhaps not that bad, he still knows how to do his job, and despite the fact he cries over the slightest thing now, he still refuses to give up on Madison Rockhart, the only one who got away...

Phis: (fis) Phis' whole name was a joke. Have you ever been bored standing in line or something, and started playing with the words on a sign? Like, say, the word "Museum"... take away the M and you've got Useum. Then Seum. Then Eum. I do that when I'm bored and see what sort of words I can make. We were at a basketball game - the MemPHIS State Tigers to be exact. That's where his name comes from, Memphis minus the Mem-.

Wise: (uh, duh) Phis' basketball name.

Lariod: (lah-royd) On the back of the program at that basketball game was the Polariod logo. Po-Laroid. Ash and I thought Phis Lariod was a really funny name, and then I ended up ruining the joke by naming one of my characters it. One of these days I'm going to name a character Muffy Snoofy...

Phis was planned from the start, but I don't really have much to say about him. People weren't sure whether he was male or female at first tho. He's just got very pretty hair, eh?

No known family.

Gracyn is 2nd partner, his first having moved up in the ranks 2 years ago.

He's more highly regarded than Yfandes in the Bounty Hunters Association, but because he is so good at his job, they don't offer him a spot in the Council (like Yfandes).

He used to own his own ship, but after it got vandalized several times, he gave up on it. He rents his ships now, or uses public transportation.
