Not much is known about Ocha, other than the fact that her species is rarely seen away from their homeplanets. Her species is known to be very private and reserved, and it's unusual to see one running about the universe, especially in the company of space pirates. Why she sticks around them isn't known just yet, but she values the friendship of Madison and Britan, and feels she has to watch out for Miles and Piper, so she believes she needs to stay.
She's a very kind, loyal and loving person. She sacrifices a lot so she can watch out for the others. She's also very sensitive, and cries easily at movies and books. Speaking of which, she loves to read, though she prefers fiction to Madison's history books.
She has family somewhere, since she often writes to her younger sister, but the others don't know where they are, or just how much Ocha wishes she could visit them.

Ocha: (oh-cha) Japanese for 'green tea.' Originally all the characters were named after Japanese condiments or food... for about a week LOL. (I was in Japanese class at the time, and that particular week's handout was... Japanese condiments and food.) The only one that stuck was Ocha. Probably because nothing else would have suited her as well.

Passiflora: (pah-see-floor-ah) Genus Passiflora, the passionflower, the state wildflower of Tennessee.

I got the idea for her personality and character in my head during class, and just started randomly doodling. I just kept adding on to that little sketch, and I was surprised when I came up with something kinda neat. Her design hardly changed at all from that first little sketch. Her name cemented her colour scheme.
NO, she is not a catgirl, by any means of it. I don't give her any sort of name like that. Just say she's an alien, eh? Easier that way.
Her outfits are probably the hardest to design, but fun also. I try to give her a feminine, airy look - the open skirts with the pants underneath. I generally take an idea - like the medieval style dress from Issue 2 or the Chinese inspired outfit from Issue 6 - and try to work that into her specifications.

The thing on her forehead is the same as Britan's.

Her legs (and hooves) are extremely powerful - she held back when attacking Gracyn, because if she hadn't, Gracyn probably wouldn't be with us today.

She has excellent hearing, as you can imagine.

She loves to cook and try new recipes, but dislikes cleaning and only does it because she must.
