Little is known about Ardyn, since she has yet to make her appearance in the comic. What is known is that she's Piper's older sister (older by a year), and that neither of them get along, and Ardyn doesn't get along with their father either. She just recently graduated school, and doesn't particularly want to do much of anything right now.
She does, apparently, like to party a little too much, though.
Why she carries an umbrella with her all the time is unknown... perhaps she fell into the Spring of Drowned - oh, nevermind, that joke isn't worth it.

Ardyn: (arr-den) When Ash and I were thinking up Ardyn, I suggested Arwen (my middle name), but she didn't think that was quite right. At the time I was in the middle of writing my senior thesis paper on Shakespeare's As You Like It, so Arwen made me think of Arden, the forest in the play. She liked that, and we added the 'y' just to make it look different. Arden means "Great Forest."

Mae: (may) Variant of May, chosen just because it sounded good with Ardyn. Ardyn Mae and Piper Lenn. The month of May was named for Maia, the Roman earth goddess, and it's also the Sanskrit word meaning ''Illusion.''

Kimagure: (kee-mah-goo-ray) Kimagure, a Japanese word meaning "whimsical, capricious."

Ardyn's design is based almost completely off Piper's design, with similar clothes and hair. I don't know why Ardyn wears that weird butterfly thing in her hair.
